I think one of the most poignant remembrances concerning the recent death of Tim Russert was by Chuck Dodd, NBC's political director. Russert had brought Dodd on for the primary and election season and he has added much to the reporting of the stats and comments made. Not that I always agreed with them, but at least it was clear and unqualified.
Dodd said," If we must mourn Tim, what better time than Father's Day, because there was no one who loved his father or who loved being a father more than Tim.'
That was true in many ways.
For those of us who didn't get to see our fathers this Father's Day, sometimes a personalized gifts just isn't enough.
But, a copy of 'Big Russ and Me' by Tim Russert just might do the trick.
